After receiving numerous requests, we’ve introduced Chrome notifications to keep you updated on your trade activities. With the release of the Chrome app version 1.8.1, these notifications now alert you to key actions, ensuring you’re always informed about your trades.
What Are Chrome Notifications?
Chrome notifications are brief messages that appear at the top of your Chrome browser. They provide real-time updates on important events related to your trading activities.
When Will You Receive Notifications?
You’ll be notified in the following scenarios:
- When a trade is successfully placed.
- When a scenario item is completed.
- When all trades within a strategy are fulfilled, marking the strategy as completed.
How to Enable Notifications
To start receiving notifications, simply update the Whaletail Chrome app to the latest version (1.8.1 or later) and grant permission to receive notifications when prompted.
Creative Uses for Chrome Notifications
Use Notifications as Trade Alerts
You can set up Chrome notifications as alerts without executing trades:
- Navigate to the exchange and select the coin you want to monitor.
- Set up a new trade using the Whaletail app (tutorial here).
- Set the trade amount and value to zero.
By following these steps, you’ll receive a notification when your trade conditions are met—without actually placing a trade.
